Pierino Murro School of Conversano (Ba)  organizes the Academy for

  “Technical Operator of Wellness in Ayurveda”

According to 4/2013 law, non-ordinistic professions 

 

At the end of the course, the school offers further insights on holistic medicine by promoting internships, stages in India organized in collaboration with the CSRAM (Center for Study and Research on Alternative Medicine in Delhi), followed by AIMA teachers and other Indian Ayurvedic doctors of the place. The internship will be held in Jaipur, the “Pink City of the Maharaja” in the heart of the wonderful and colorful Rajasthan, in the north of India. At the end of the first year of study in Bari, there will be a group test and a certificate of participation will be assigned with the total amount of hours. At the end of the second year the Certificate of Wellness Operator will be assigned in Ayurveda & Ayurveda massage.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Professional path for Technical Wellness Operator in Ayurveda

400 total hours in two years: 15 total weekends of theoretical – practical teaching training, in addition 160 hours of internship and supervision.
The process of technical study includes: 12 types of massage, 8 categories of Ayurveda treatments of Indian tradition, 1 Profession that enriches your life

FIRST YEAR PROGRAM

The first year course consists of 7 monthly weekends for 112 teaching hours and 88 hours in various practical internships at our operating headquarters for a total of 200 hours between theory, practice and documented internships.

Meaning of Ayurveda and to whom it can be useful
Origin, Philosophy, Definition and History
Ayurveda as a science of life and its place in the Indian landscape and in Hindu mythology
Philosophy and Science
The sacred texts: Vedas, Upanishads and main Samhita
Manifestation of Life according to Sankhya Philosophy

SIXTH MEETING
Techniques and practices of massages adapted to the various constitutions and rebalancing of them: the Dosha-Abhyangam, PART 1
Vatabhyangam: practice of the specific massage of the Vata constitution
Kaphabhyangam: practice of the specific massage of the constitution Kapha
Pittabhyangam: practice of the specific massage of the pitta constitution
Deepening for the recognition of the dominant Dosha in the daily observation of the use of specific medical oils in the Ayurvedic tradition

SEVENTH MEETING
The correct daily and seasonal routine to experience and live the benefits of Ayurveda:
DINCHARYA AND RITUCHARYA, good habits create good health!
Ayurvedic nutrition according to the doshas and basic physico-chemical-energetic concepts: RASA, GUNA, VIRYA, VIPAKA and PRABHAVA
“Ayurveda begins with oneself” practice of the massage to keep healthy and strong: ATMA-ABHYANGAM. Anti-Ama Diet, Ayurvedic Menu to re-harmonize every dominant DOSHA
Techniques and practices of massages adapted to the various constitutions and rebalancing of them: the Dosha-Abhyangam, PART 2
Closing theoretical group assessment and practical evaluation of individual manual pressure

SECOND YEAR PROGRAM

The second year course consists of 8 monthly weekends for 128 hours of teaching and 72 hours in various practical internships at our headquarters, for a total of 200 hours between theory, practice and documented internships.

FIRST MEETING
Introduction to the treatments of keraliyan Pancha Karma: preparation for all the main specific body treatments used in Ayurvedic medicine
Introduction to Ayurvedic Herbs used in treatments: Names, compositions and categories of classical natural remedies in Ayurveda, Methods of preparation of natural remedies, Oils, decoctions and tisane. Practice of the treatment of localized VASTI and its variants, long-lasting soothing oil-based treatments, with a special mixture to maintain oils

SECOND MEETING
UDGHARSHANA: dry powder treatment, weight reduction program
UDVARTANA: natural peeling treatment and body cleansing
UBTANA: treatments with natural masks for exfoliation and facial cleaning

Some natural remedies, beauty secrets used by our Indian ayurveda clinics in New Delhi, Jaipur and Kerala

THIRD MEETING
PRANICO MASSAGE, sequence of the typical and famous keralyano massage of southern India
PINDA SWEDA hot infusion treatment and its variants
Practice of the entire treatment and manufacture of the herbal boluses to be heated. This treatment is the original ancestor of stone-massage, but much more spectacular

FOURTH MEETING
Srotas: theory of the body channels
Anatomy and physiology of the lymphatic and vascular system
NIR-ABHYANGAM Indian Ayurvedic manual lymphatic drainage massage. Usefulness of the lymph massage in the aesthetic and therapeutic field, for a very versatile and effective treatment, easy to make and very successful

FIFTH MEETING
Anatomy of the nervous system according to Ayurveda: Marma or vital points. Manipulation of the marma, philosophical, physical and spiritual aspects
MARMA-ABHYANGAM, the 4-hands massage in detail, very energetic
Possibility of two-handed practice for therapeutic purposes

SIXTH MEETING
SHIRODHARA: treatment of lukewarm oil flow calibrated on the forehead and on the third eye, rebalancing the mind
DHARA-KARMA and variants of localized oil flow treatments on other parts of the body
NASYA: purification and lubrication treatment of the respiratory and nervous system

SEVENTH MEETING
MURI-ABHYANGAM, PART Introduction to the Walls (joints)
Bone anatomy and hints of articular biomechanics
Muri Abhyangam: Joint manipulation 
Massage
Classical muscular problems: contracture, stretching, tearing, tendonitis, soreness
Osteo-articular diseases: causes, prevention and treatment with Ayurveda, nutrition and treatments of the Indian tradition
MURI-ABHYANGAM practice, Joint massage. Joint manipulation

EIGHTH MEETING
Balabhyangam and Garbhayangam: care, yoga, nutrition, meditation and massage for pregnant women and baby (infant massage)

 

AT THE END OF THE PROGRAM YOU WILL HAVE ACCESS TO THE FINAL EXAM: WRITTEN, ORAL AND PRACTICAL.
AFTER PASSING THE EXAM, YOU WILL HAVE RIGHT TO RECEIVE CERTIFICATE OF TECHNICAL OPERATOR OF WELLNESS IN AYURVEDA SPECIALIZED IN MASSAGE AND AYURVEDA
