The course is aimed at those who already have a minimum experience in oriental dance and want to rediscover forms and movements in a different form, through the study of the body and its physiology; of its potential in terms of strength and flexibility but also (and above all) of expressive intensity.
We will study together different techniques between gypsy dance, oriental, fusion, floorwork and use of various accessories with a particular attention to the fan; we will learn to “understand” music and rhythm and how to bring out one’s expressiveness through gesture and improvisation.
The objective of the course is to learn a heterogeneous and flexible language that allows us to “tell stories” by learning to love our body and creating dreamlike, powerful and elegant images.
Sara Tremolizzo’s artistic experience began in 1996 with the study of music and piano at the “Giuseppe Verdi” Conservatory of Milan, with private violin lessons, which she continued until 2004 when she began her studies in Medicine.
Since 2002, her passion for music is transformed into dance, expanding her artistic path with the expressive possibilities offered by the movement: starting from the oriental dance she has progressively explored other dance styles and physical performances.
After years of studying oriental dance with Rosaria Landino, Jamila Zaki, Chiara Aysel and Alessandra Centonze, she became passionate about the gypsy dance (gypsy dances from Eastern Europe) with Victoria Ivanova and the Tribal Fusion with Francesca Pedretti, of whom she attended Professional Tribal Emotional courses of Bellydance; deepens the study of tribal fusion through internships with international teachers such as Violet Scrap, Dalia Carella, Anasma, Linda Faoro and the world fusion company BellyQueen of New York, creator of the show Journey along the silk road, which in 2016 she participates in the cast of the European premiere of the show.
She participates in other major Tribal Fusion festivals including: Tribal Umrah festival of Viareggio with La Divina Commedia (project by Francesca Pedretti) in 2016 and Gothla.it (with Francesca Pedretti and Anasma) in 2017.
In the recent years, she has dedicated herself to broadening her “artistic vocabulary”: Araba® Expressive Dance with Gaia Scuderi, classical dance, contemporary, flamenco with the teacher Sabina Todaro, acrobatics with Paolo dei Giudici and aerial dance with Clelia Fumanelli.
Since 2011 she has been teaching oriental and gypsy dances. She has participated in many events: festivals, dance events, theatrical performances and street performances and has collaborated with various musicians (including Barcelona Gypsy Balkan Orchestra, Boz Trio, accordionist Saro Calandi, Renato Franchi and the orchestra of the player Jones, Jovica Jovic, Babamara, Balkan Band, Balkan Orchestra, Pier Sayat from Brussels, Almoraima).
Between 2017/2018 she becomes part of the project that will evolve in the company “I-D.E.A. dance company” professional company of Danza Espressiva Araba® Internazionale by Roberta Bongini and Gaia Scuderi, with whom she performed in the thirteenth edition of the Raksa Festival in Florence.
